Happy November! I don’t care what month it is – I always feel like I’m getting somewhat of a fresh start when the 1st rolls around. Now if I can only carry on my productivity throughout the next 30 days too ; ) Speaking of productivity – I definitely have a lot I want to accomplish lately, and the blog may be put on the back burner in the process. (Not that any of you are worried,) but don’t worry; I’m saving up a ton of great stuff to share : ) Here’s what I’m “currently” up to!
Discovering: Let’s call this one re-discovering – because lately I’ve been reaching for things in my closet that I haven’t worn for years. Seriously, years. It’s funny how you can love something one season and hate it the next, but putting together actual outfits (as opposed to workout clothes) has been pretty fun.
Celebrating: Halloween, 5 days late! Our friends are hosting a party on Friday night and we’re all doing a group theme for costumes – Super Smash Bros : ) Can you tell we grew up in the 90’s? Stay tuned to see Tim and I in our awesome DIY costumes – I’m sure there will be some ridiculous pictures on Snap & Insta!
Starting: To pick and purchase Christmas presents. There are a few items I’ll wait for holiday/black friday sales, but otherwise I’m just going for it so I’m not stressed in the weeks leading up. Related: Target’s OneSpot holiday wrapping section is reaaaally good this year!
Wearing: My oatmeal colored infinity scarf, my TOMS wedges and my new Daniel Wellington watch. But it’s going to be 78 here tomorrow so I honestly don’t know how to handle that temperature whilst still wearing seasonally appropriate clothing… #help
Googling: Alllllll about the Jacob Wetterling case. Have you guys listened to the new podcast “In the Dark” yet? Highly, HIGHLY recommend – especially if you loved Serial. I’m absolutely fascinated with missing person cases and this story and the subsequent investigation are crazy interesting – even more so because I currently have a client from the same small-town area of Minnesota. Perfect for your commute home!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
