Remember the feeling of complete and total euphoria we experienced on the last day of school? Jumping triumphantly off the school bus for the final time, backpack full of odds and ends swinging wildly as we ran home to start a summer full of both everything and nothing, all at once. Just as September is my “January”, June still evokes that same summer spirit in me – though I obviously can’t take advantage of it nearly as much ; ) So happy to be back sharing my currently with Anne & Erin – don’t forget to link up with your own monthly musings!
Planning: First, just getting a few things ready for our extended 4th of July weekend down the shore… but more importantly, ALL the planning for Krista’s upcoming bachelorette party! We’re headed up the mountains for a weekend in July and we couldn’t be more excited to RELAX by the lake with champagne in hand, celebrating our bride. And of course I’m going mildly overboard with fun extras ; ) #plannersgottaplan
Wishing: For more hours in the day. Seriously, are there ever enough to do all the things? Can someone who is a real adult please enlighten me? Much appreciated.
Learning: More about the way lighting affects my photography – especially indoors. The hardest for me is switching between different areas of the same scene and having to quickly adjust the settings without missing the shot. But I have a feeling I’ll never be done learning when it comes to taking pictures, and I’m not the slightest bit sad about it.
Browsing: Planners. GUYS. This is an emergency. It doesn’t look like Target is going to continue selling Sugar Paper (excuse me while I have a mild panic attack about that) so I am in full fledged browse/buy mode before my current planner is finished at the end of June. Must have: spiral bound, medium size, weekly layout (preferably horizontal) and SPACE FOR NOTES. How do people live without space for notes? Can you tell I am legitimately anxious about this? Can you?
Going: To the gym, every night. Last week I gave myself time off to finish a few last minute bridal shower tasks, but it’s time to get back to business. Related: I may try Orangetheory. Anyone care to share any insight?
Happy June, happy summer, and happy hump day! Enjoy the rest of your week!
