We’re back with another edition of the Daily Dime! If you haven’t heard of this linkup, you’re doing it wrong ; ) No but really, it’s a fun challenge to document my day with 10 photos and I love having a place to look back on both the ordinary and extraordinary moments I’ve captured! Today I’m sharing 10 snaps from our Saturday at Peddler’s Village Oktoberfeast. You’re literally all shaking your heads right now asking “how many Oktoberfest events can one human attend in a year?” And I’m telling you, the limit does not exist. So here we go!
We started off the day bypassing the giant food/beverage tents and heading straight to a smaller choice – Free Will Brewing. This was an outstanding choice and we enjoyed many an IPA throughout the day.
We grabbed food and a picnic table and the men smoked a few cigars while we all hung out and caught up. The Nickey family (and now, by marriage, the Fitts family) are like MY second family – We’ve known each other since Brittany and I were in the 3rd or 4th grade (I honestly can’t remember) and now our parents own a mountain house together. #framily
We capped off the day with some free bull rides… and the crazy crowd DEMANDED that my hand be in the air while trying to hang on for dear life. Not. Easy. And if you can’t tell from Tim’s impish smirk in that photo, he started tickling me right after it was taken <eye roll emoji>
All in all it was a wonderful day spent with wonderful people! I’m excited to see some of this crew again this weekend in the mountains for a birthday beer tasting. Yes, our weekends revolve around drinking beer ; ) Happy Wednesday, and don’t forget to link up your Daily Dime if you’re sharing a post!
