Happy Friday! And a happy one it is indeed – by the time you read this we’ll have begun our road trip to New York! One of our best friends gets married tomorrow and we’re starting the celebrations early with golf and festivities today : ) But for now – let’s talk blog.
Every once in awhile I’ll figure something out that helps me “blog better” so I started a casual mini-series to share all that crap with you guys! *takes bow* Then again, much of it is probably common sense – for example, planning out your posts in advance in a content calendar. (duh) For me, I need my content visible in my normal day-to-day planner, so I started relying on post-it notes to help me keep track of what I was posting and when I was posting it. But. What if I could personalize my post-it notes!?
I did. And I’m sharing them with you.
Step 1: Download this template of free planner printables – I included labels for posts that you’re scheduling AND photos you need to take because I often forget to include that very important aspect.
Step 2: Buy label paper. Either grab full white sticker sheets (if you feel like meticulously cutting each label out) or this exact product which will line up perfectly with the stickers you just downloaded.
Steps 3-7: Print. Stick. Write. Plan. Rule the world.
Don’t like my color choices? I don’t blame you. I used this template to make MY template – Just design your stickers as .5 x 1.75 inches, then paste your saved jpeg into each blank label. If these help you become some sort of famous #bossbabe, feel free to throw me some credit in a future interview ; )
Something to note: These, unlike post-it notes, will be a bit more permanent in your planner. If you’re used to moving blog posts around, be cautious before you start throwing legit stickers all willy-nilly about the place. #fairwarning
