Well hey! It’s been a crazy busy couple of weeks, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I figured I’d kick this week off (late) with a double dose of weekending and plenty of photos to share! Between family breakfast dates, brewery tours, airport dropoffs and wedding shenanigans, there’s been no shortage of fun these past few weeks. Enjoy the random!
Last Saturday (the 17th) I started off with the most delicious breakfast from Bittersweet Kitchen in Media before dropping Tim, his dad and his brother off at PHL. They flew to California to golf Pebble Beach (and Spyglass and Spanish Bay) for Father’s Day and had a blast – Tim even indulged my corny request for him to drive this golf ball as far into the Pacific as possible ; )
On Sunday we headed out for some Dad Day fun of our own – touring a few local breweries and ending with dinner for our rambunctious crew – I’m sure our waitstaff loved our 14 top! We started off at Naked Brewing Company where we brought our own appetizer spread, dominated the jukebox, took a behind the scenes tour (my Dad helps the owners out with some engineering tasks) and enjoyed plenty of delicious IPA.
Our next stop was Crooked Eye Brewery where we played a few tabletop games while sipping DIPA before our hunger got the best of us and we headed to dinner at MaGerk’s Pub nearby. I may or may not have eaten 96% of a bread pudding by myself. This is what happens when Tim leaves town ; )
After a busy week in between, we resumed our weekending with Friday night happy hour & a pizza party. Tim’s mom is one of 5 girls and even the out of town-ers were around to celebrate a family wedding, so we had a blast dancing on the patio and playing games late into the night. Saturday morning shoe shopping preceded our wedding festivities and I was thrilled to find a pair of heels and these Sperry sneakers on clearance. We headed to the ceremony about an hour away and then enjoyed the reception at Columbia Station in Phoenixville – along with a parking lot tailgate in between because, #classy ; )
Sunday was a Funday indeed – sleeping late, pool floating, the most adorable photoshoot and dinner on a rooftop in the city. I swear, if all my photography clients were this easy, I’d quit my job and do it full time.
Hope you’re having a wonderful Tuesday so far! I’ll be back with another post or two before the loooong holiday weekend – I can’t wait to be in Avalon enjoying the sunshine and plenty of sangria!
