My favorite month and my newest linkup obsession are colliding – I’m guest co-hosting the September edition of the Daily Dime and I’m thrilled to be in such wonderful blogland company! : ) In case you haven’t stumbled upon this awesome link party yet, here’s the rundown: Take 10 photos throughout 24 hours and share your “day in the life” post with all of the ordinary AND extraordinary moments you capture! The linkup is open for two weeks so you have plenty of time to join in on the fun.
Be sure to check out the posts in the widget below – especially those from my beautiful co-hosts Kristin, Kristy, Kerry, Chelsea, Sarah, Jennifer & Courtney! Now, onto the fun.
I wanted to share another “normal” day in the life since I used a wedding for the August roundup. And I wanted it to be a day I was in our Philly office, and a day I was going to boot camp. Annnnd when I figured all this out – YESTERDAY was my best option! So here’s 10 photos from September 12th, 2017 – Enjoy! ; )
Breakfast! I pre-chopped some random leftover veggies for an egg scramble – Mornings are so much easier when food is prepped. I even had time to sit outside and read for a little before work – and I rarely EVER have time to do anything in the morning! ; )
My commute isn’t so bad – I spend about 35-45 minutes on one highway, depending on how bad traffic is that day. I usually sit down and check emails/complete anything pressing before heading out to grab coffee around the corner from my office in Old City. And for the record, I’m USUALLY dressed in workout clothes… because I can be.
Work work work. I’m a digital media coordinator at an advertising agency so most of my day is spent online starting ad campaigns, creating content, and handling reputation management. And yes that IS a baby Groot bobblehead next to a photo of Tim at his desk at work…! After lunch (which I was too hungry to photograph) I snacked on lemon yogurt and strawberries which is basically dessert in my eyes.
If I’ve got enough time and the weather is nice, I’ll usually try to take a quick afternoon walk to clear my head. Yesterday I headed down to Race Street Pier to sit by the water before taking the elevator back up to our office.
Home in time for dinner and the random watering of the cactus that I’m not certain how I’ve kept alive, before heading off to a 7pm boot camp! This one was actually pretty killer – We usually do shorter intervals and 50 seconds on was no joke. But hey, check out my baby muscles!! ; )
And that’s a wrap! Don’t forget to join in with your own day in the life post – you have until the 27th to linkup! And when you enter your post, you’ll automatically be sent an email to remind you about the linkup each month – October’s date is Wednesday the 18th : )
