Can you believe Memorial Day Weekend is only 3 weeks away!? I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. It truly feels like just yesterday that Tim and I were out to dinner celebrating our anniversary in early January.
With only 28 days standing between me and weekends in Avalon, I thought I’d compile some recent purchases that have me oh-so-excited for summer weather, and the activities that come along with it!
Because the world is an unfair place, my mother and I are a full shoe size apart. Sometimes we can meet in the middle and share a pair, but more likely than not our footwear remains in our own closets. However, sometimes it works in my favor: Like when she ordered these gorgeous Tommy Hilfiger wedges online and was dismayed to learn they were too big? Go ahead and call me Goldilocks, because they fit me juuuust right.
Neutral and black. Can you really get much better than that? (Shh all you colorful people. I’m happy in my monochromatic world.)
Listen, I’m still not sure if I’m a hat person. I can rock a baseball cap, I frequently add my cowgirl hat to tailgate outfits, and I’ve been known to sport a floppy hat on the beach: but STILL. It takes a certain kind of person to own a fedora. The jury is still out, but I’ll be sure to snap a picture if/when I incorporate this Target beauty into my wardrobe.
Be still my heart ♥︎ An entire set of nautical gold & diamond jewelry for $7…? Is this a dream? No, this is Target.
I’ve only been searching for a belt this color for, oh I don’t know, EVER? Fits me perfectly, and coordinates SO well with all of my neutral accessories. Take a wild guess as to where I found it ; ) This baby will be on repeat all summer long.
And last but certainly not least, this cute and compact Nine West wristlet I picked up at DSW. I’ve got them in cream and chestnut but I’ve been searching for this specific beige for a very long time. Fits my phone, my ID, money and a chapstick, and I need absolutely nothing else when walking to the Windrift to dance the night away.
I can almoooost smell the salt air. Have you made any perfect summery purchases lately?
