Or, if you’re Tina Fey on SNL: “Youse guys.”
Either way, listen up. If you haven’t already used Rent the Runway, you are MISSING OUT. Here’s your chance to hop on this amazing bandwagon – a wagon filled with sparkly, twirly, affordable high-end dresses delivered right to your door.
I recently rented this Allison Parris dress for a friend’s wedding. I seriously own about 100 dresses (this is not an exaggeration) but NONE of them were appropriate for a December 12th wedding. Though it did end up being 70 degrees…. Enter RTR, a virtual closet of thousands of beautiful designer dresses, ready to ship right to my house (in my size and a 2nd size for free!)
Here’s the thing about RTR: When I first saw this dress, I wasn’t very impressed. I thought it looked baggy in places and that the color was way too red for me. BUT. After I perused the hundreds of customer reviews – including renter sizes, descriptions and PHOTOS – I was convinced otherwise. This system honestly might not work at all if it weren’t for the reviews. I couldn’t try on the dress beforehand, and as I was renting for a 4 day period, I was solely counting on it to arrive and be exactly what I needed. I definitely would NOT have pulled the trigger if it weren’t for the insanely helpful reviews!
To top it all off, you get 20% off of your first order after you sign up – as if these beautiful designer dresses weren’t already affordable enough. For the record – I am not being paid to talk about RTR (this baby blog doesn’t get nearly enough views for that sort of life): I JUST LOVED IT SO MUCH, that I absolutely had to swoon about it on the Internets.
That being said – I can’t provide you with a handy dandy personal sign up link – but if you leave your email in the comments, I can “invite” you and earn credits. Help a sister out – I have 4 weddings next year already! ; )
Hoping you’re all having a wonderful holiday season!
